Back to School 2010

I officially have a 2nd grader and a Kindergartner as of today. The girls were up at 6:00 getting ready and woke us up at 6:30 all dressed and ready to go. It was nice becuase there was no fighting no dragging kids out of bed, lots of excitement etc. If only it will last, I wonder how long it will last. We ate, hung out since we were up and ready so early, waited for C Boy ( I am tending kids now and have a super cute 9 mo old boy) got him fed and dressed loaded up in the car and headed to school. I pulled into the parking lot and asked Syd if she wanted me to park and walk her to her class. But she and London insisted that I just pull into the drop off lane and London would take her sister and so I did. The doors opened the two of them walk out hand in hand up the stairs into the doors of the big big world. Me and the little ones went home to hang out. When I went to pick Syd up she looked so proud of her first day of school. We took these pics as soon as we came home. She asked me if she could go back later and I had to remind her she only goes in the morning and she would have to wait. So fun. (disclaimer on Cairo's picture, she is always in dance clothes, always always always, and if family are lookig close yes that is my old bunny dance costume leotard)

Easter Day

Here are some pics from Easter Sunday, we were all a little drained from our Easter Adventures and from wathcing and listening to Conference. Plus Janae and her crew were starting to not feel so well. But I was not going to let a photo op go by especially since all the girls were dolled up. Unfortunately I did not get a great pic of all of them but I managed to sneak a photo of all of them somewhat together for my mom!! The prego pics are so so, Janae was not feeling so hot, I was tired and I edited them a little crzy feeling different today!!Photobucket

The Gilrs

Just as a side note, while I am writing this post I am also, cleaning my house, making fajitas from dinner, helping London with her homework and also getting the other girls in the tub so we can eat get in our jammies and head up the canyon for some easter egg dying at a friends house for family home evening.

So here is my new header for a while anyways. These are the girls in thier Easter outfits although you cannot see them very well. I am going to try and get better pics outside this weekend if the weather cooperates. The funny thing is my sister and her girls have the same dresses. We happened to be shopping together and while I was picking out dresses in the older girls dept. she was picking out dresses in the little girl dept. and they just so happened to be the same ones. (this happens a lot, you would think we were twins or something)

These pics are for my sister. I made what I think are adorable headbands for my girls to make thier outfits all kind of go together and match. I figured I would be nice and if she wants some I would make them but I thought I would put them up here for her to check out.

Hogle Zoo

Before the School year was over, London's Kindergarten class had a field trip to the Hogle Zoo. Instead of sending her on the bus alone, or me riding the bus and finding a babysitter for the other two, we all piled in the car and headed up for a fun filled day. After finding it, finding a parking spot and hiking to the entrance we made it just in time to catch up with some friends and classmates. We were able to see some fun stuff with our friends and have lunch with them before they headed back on the bus to go home. Once they did about a half dozen of the other schools left as well and the girls and I had a great day hangin out at the zoo and seeing just about everythig we could. We were even able to catch an elephant show with thier trainers, the girls thought it was cool how the zooligists actually get to take care and interact with the animals. I had a great day with my girls and proud of myself that I was able to do it all by myslef and enjoy them as much as I did
