My Week

Let's Just say I have had a week of all weeks. Brandon left for Utah in hopes of finding out our future!!! My mom and Dad came on Sunday to visit and to see London's Primary Sacrament Mtg. Mom stayed and hung around to help out with the babe and my girl's crazy schedules. We headed to my parents house on Wednesday after London's preschool. By the way in the mean time we have all had a touch of the stomach bug, not fun. So we are at my parents house and Cairo get's what I thought was an eye infection. We headed home early Friday morning to go to the Doc. On the way home I got pulled over by Highway Patrol which I was fine with becuase yes I was in actuality gong 15 over the speed limit but granted I was going with the flow of traffic and he could have pulled over the person in front or behind me. He proceeded to give me a ticket and also search for other things to cite me for like being in violation of my drivers license beucase my address is wrong and it saya that I wear corrective lenses and I no longer do since my surgery two years ago. He was a real prick about the whole corrective lenses thing and gave me an extra citation for it. I was hoping that one of my kids would throw up in the back seat just to see if he would have still given me a ticket. Then I proceeded to the Dr. office where I waited 2.5 hours ina wiating room full of sick kids throwing up all over the place and parents letting thier sick kids run all over the place and touch everything including my infants toys on her carseat, yuck!!! Just for the doc to tell me that it is just a clogged tear duct. Yes Friday was a bad day, but things are looking up. London did great at her soccer game on Saturday and even scored a goal although she used her hands slightly. And then I made, which I thought was a great accomplishment, my first trip to the grocery store with all three kids by myself. Congrats to me. Brandon comes home today and we can't wait to have our daddy back and for me to get some sort of break, although I am sure he is exhauseted after the week he has had. The pic above of Cairo was taken at my mom's house just a snapshot becuase she was so color coordinated for the day. She even matched the adorable Blanket my sister made for her. Thanks auntie Nae.

Have you ever heard my story of being pulled over. It wasn't that bad because I had no children yet, but I was well pregnant with KC and being accused of drinking and driving. Luckily Scott pulled in behind me and then his dad and then his sister and then his brother.
I love that you are handeling things so well and I wish I was closer to help. Did Brandon have luck on his trip to your future?

OMG, that just stinks.
Hopefully this week is much brighter... and you have a clue where you're going with your life. :)

Glad that you made it through the week and I hope that next week is better. Aren't we glad all cops aren't that way?

I think we all understand. All mothers have had weeks like that! You definately need and deserve a break!!! I wish your kids had thrown up ON the cop, that would have been good for him :). Hope this week goes better and way to go with the grocery store thing! I am amazed!
