My Oldest Turned Five Today

Happy Birthday to my big five year old today. I felt bad becuase I woke up with strep and had to go to the doctors, could barely talk, had a playdate set up for her new friends to come over and had to cancel. She told me her birthday was not fun becuase Daddy was going to pay attention to me (becuase I was sick) and not her. Well she could not be more wrong, since Dad was on Mom duty all day. He had the girls all day so that I could just sleep, he prepared meals, made bottles, did nap time, took the girls to a special place for London's b-day (Wendy's frosties) Played T-ball with them (one of London's presents)Thanks B for all your help. We did make it a special day for her as much as we could with candles and cake and all. I want her to know how much I love her and that I see so much of myself in her. She is going into Kindergarten at the end of summer, taking swimming lessons in July (thank you Grandma Phillips for that birthday present) She can ride her bike without training wheels, has started to read, has become a great big sister, thanks to the move and no television to occupy her time. I thought I would post a pic of her when she was a baby and the earliest I could find that I had digital was this one she is about 18 months old and then here is a new pic of here, wow she has grown so fast I can't believe how time flies.
