To the Dad's in our lives

Here is a little tribute to our Grandpa's. We want to tell them how much we love them and appreciate all they do for us. Brandon did not recieve much in way of gifts this year, however he was presented with Breakfast in Bed by London (yogurt with granola, toast and jam, and eggs, all things she could help do) we went to church together, plan on going for a nice drive up the canyon today to check out the scenerey and are making a yummy steak dinner with homemade strawberry icecream for dessert. I want my Dad to know how much I love him and what a hero he is to me. I have been thinking a lot about that lately. I was thinking how in school (elementary) you are always asked to think and write about your hero, mine would always be my dad. My dad is the hardest worker you will ever know. As a child my dad worked long hours of the day, sometimes we would only see him when he would come home for work, right before we had to go to bed, and then on Sundays. As a child I never understood why dad always had to work and maybe sometimes I felt as though maybe Dad did not care, it was not until I was older and had kids of my own that I understood the love my Dad had for me. The reason why he was not home a lot was becuase he did care, everything my Dad did was for my mom and my brothers and sisters. My dad is my hero becuase he is charitable, my Dad would help anyone, I appreciate this life lesson, even when it does not seem like he had anything to give he still would. My Dad is my hero becuase he is strong. Strong willed, strong physically and most importantly strong in the gospel. I am thankful for my Dad's testimony that I had to lean on for so many years and for his patience and understanding and letting me find my way. I am the person I am today because of you (and mom) thank you for letting me be who I am and teaching me great lessons. So to wrap it up my dad is better than your dad and stronger than superman. Love you.
