Finally

Finally I feel like I have accomplished something. A big Thank you to Carly for the helpful insight as to my new blog template. I have been having trouble lately being organized and for those who know me well know that I do not usually suffer from such unorganization issues. I am hoping with this new blog layout that maybe I will be better at using it. I use to do so good posting daily and keeping my family informed about the girls. This year I want to use it more for personal reasons. I am hoping it will keep me sane, inspire me to be better and challenge myself to do new things. I have been inspired lately by all those bloggers out there who give themselves a daily, weekly goal for example check out here and here. My goal this year is to finish all my unfinished projects. Quilts, rooms in my house, photography and design projects, work projects you name it I have a list for it. So here is to checking things off the list. Speaking of checking things off the list, my girlfriend from high school emailed and asked if I would do her sons 1st birhtday invites. He is havinf a sock monkey themed party and asked if I could make something to go along with the theme. Here is what I came up with. I had never made a character from scratch so I was glad for the challenge. I unfortunately cannot take credit for these pics. They are from a great photographer out in California.
