Spring is in the air.... For now!

We have all been dying for sum sunshine and warmer weather, well we finally have it, but I am sure it will not last. So what have we been doing with our nice weather----gardening! I know it is too early to do that hear, but we were getting desperate, so we went to good old Wal-Mart at picked up a seed starter kit. I though two weeks for the seeds to sprout, two weeks for them to grow, two weeks for them to mature and then maybe we could plant, well as you can see below we are a head of schedule and now have planter boxes in teh window seal with plants ready to go (pictures to come) But we are having fun doing it and the girls are amazed and proud of thier garden everyday. What we planted: Cilantro, Basil, Lettuce, Watermelon, Pumpkins, Lima Beans, Green Beans, Peas, Carrots, Onions, and Beets. If you are interested in the starter kit it was only $7.00 at walmart and the seed packets were $ .20.
