Kidergarten Graduation

The day finally came when my oldest graduated from Kindergarten. It was not a sad time for me as it was for some parents but more of a proud moment. I had been working with the class most of the year (parties and helping them check off thier reading books) I had also been in a lot the last month helping London's group prepare for thier dance number (Little Miss Muffet) The graduation was a nurserey rhyme theme and every child praticipated in a dance number. London got to be the first graduate to walk out during the procession and lead her class up to the stage (the down fall to that was that she was the last one to recieve her certificate) which was ok with me because I was able to get a good shot. The graduation was a success and she was very proud of herself as well. Thanks to Mrs. Lepien for a great Kindergarten year. London was also awarded the Aspiring Author Award for her class on Awards day. We clebrated the graduate by sulking in 7-11 slurpees.

Yay London! Riley is so attched to his teacher that he's not looking forward to first grade. Slurpees are always a great way to celebrate!

Yeah London we are so proud of you and we enjoyed getting to spend some time with you at Aunt Janae's and Uncle Cam's. Grandpa was very sad when he got home that day and you guys were gone but he knew it was best for Syd.
